International Symposium on Metamaterials and Nanophotonics (ISMN 2025)
July 5–6, 2025 · Suzhou, China
Metamaterials and nanophotonics, as a cutting-edge interdisciplinary field that deeply integrates optics, materials science, and micro/nano technologies, have shown broad application prospects in high-resolution imaging, biosensing, information processing, intelligent manufacturing, medical diagnostics, and national defense. They have become a key direction leading the innovation of next-generation optoelectronic technologies. Against the backdrop of the continuous evolution of global information technology and the accelerated development of high-end optoelectronic devices, metamaterials and nanophotonics are expected to play a significant role in promoting scientific and technological innovation and cultivating strategic emerging industries.
To promote academic exchange and technological development in this field, the International Symposium on Metamaterials and Nanophotonics, jointly organized by Suzhou City University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and Jiangsu/Suzhou Key Laboratory of Biophotonics will be held inSuzhou, China, from July 4 to 6, 2025. The symposium aims to build a high-level international academic exchange platform, bringing together experts and scholars from around the world to explore frontier advances and interdisciplinary applications of new principles, new materials, and new devices in metamaterial optics and nanophotonics.
The symposium will focus on several key topics, including metamaterials and metasurfaces, nanophotonics, biosensing and imaging, nonlinear biophotonics, micro/nano fabrication in biophotonics, tunable/dynamic metamaterials, and super-resolution microscopy. Discussions will span from fundamental theoretical research and key technological breakthroughs to prospects for industrial transformation. The conference will include plenary invited talks, a young scholars’ forum, and poster presentations, creating a comprehensive exchange platform that integrates research, education, and industry.
The Organizing Committee sincerely invites experts, scholars, young researchers, industry representatives, and investors from home and abroad who are engaged in metamaterials and nanophotonics, optoelectronic functional materials, micro/nano fabrication, biophotonics, and related application research to actively participate in this event. Let us gather together to share insights and seek common development!
